Parent/Guardian Request for Instructional Material Review
Lumberton ISD Board Policy Local, EFA: Parent Request for Instructional Material Review, provides parents and guardians with a formal process to request a review of instructional materials used in the district. This policy ensures transparency, encourages collaboration between families and the district, and allows concerns to be addressed in a timely and consistent manner.
Parents who wish to initiate a review should complete the form below, providing as much detail as possible about the material in question and the reason for the request. Once submitted, the district will follow-up within ten (10) business days of receipt to the parent who submitted the request.
If the request is not granted, then the parent/guardian has the option to follow local grievance policies.
