The students spent the day networking with peers from other schools and engaging with influential community leaders, focusing on leadership development and strategies for community impact. The conference, designed to inspire collaboration and action, provided participants with the tools to take on real-world challenges.

Building on their experience, the students are now joining forces with peers from three other area schools to launch a significant community service project aimed at benefiting Hardin County. Details about the project are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, but organizers say it will address key community needs and leave a lasting impact.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our students to grow as leaders while giving back to the community,” said Mrs. Linney, who has been guiding the students throughout the process. “I’m so proud of what they’ve already achieved and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.”

The Youth Leaders of Southeast Texas Conference is known for fostering a sense of civic responsibility and empowering young people to drive positive change. Lumberton High School celebrates the accomplishments of these students as they take the next steps in their leadership journey.

Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming community project and the continued achievements of Lumberton’s outstanding youth leaders.
