Our Partnership with the RDSPD
As a Member Local Education Agency (LEA/ISD), Lumberton ISD partners with the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) to ensure students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing receive the specialized support they need.
Through this partnership, our students remain enrolled in our district while accessing RDSPD services such as instruction from Teachers of the Deaf, interpreting services, audiological support, and communication-focused resources. Working together, we provide students with high-quality, accessible, and inclusive educational opportunities.
