I love teaching because I can make a positive, direct, and lasting impact on my students' lives. The connections I make with my students enriches my life and makes it more fulfilling.  I have spent my entire career at LISD and both of my children went to school here. I was incredibly touched and proud to be chosen as Elementary Teacher of the year.
