Training Opportunities

LISD needs ESL certified teachers.  If you are interested in adding
ESL certification, there are opportunities listed.

1)     In Person @ Region 5  https://txr5.escworks.net/

·       2 day workshop

·       If you would like to attend an ESL training at Region 5, LISD will pay for the training.

·       In order to attend this training you must commit to taking the ESL certification test.

2)     Online, Self-paced- TEA 12 hour certification training

** How to get reimbursement for the cost of the ESL test?

·       You must pass the test.

·       You must add ESL to your certificate with TEA.

·       Email me and I will send you directions for reimbursement.
