Golden Corral @Military Appreciation Essay Contest;
Persons 13 years of age and older, who have served or whose parents have served in the US Armed Forces, are invited to submit an essay conveying the pride they have in their parent's or their own Military service, as well as, share their educational aspirations.
Six winners will be awarded cash prizes to further their education. There are two age brackets:
1). ages 13 - 17 and
2). ages 18 +,
The two Grand Prize winners (one in each bracket) will receive $5,000 cash, second place winners (one in each bracket) will receive a $2,500 cash prize and the third place winners will recieve a cash prize of $1,000.

Educational Scholarship Program;
With the Stokes Program, you work during the summer at NSA om areas related to your course of study.
If you are selected as a program participant, you are required to work for NSA after college graduation for at least one and one-hlf times the length of study.
This program is open to college sophomores (who are majoring in Foreign Language).
You must be a U.S. Citizen.
You must earn at least a 3.0 cummulative GPA for your freshman year Qualified career fields.
You may choose a full-time major in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Languages or Mathematics.
Benefits Include:
Tuition at the college of your choice,
Reimbursement for books and certain fees,
Housing and travel entitlements during summer employment (if the distance between NSA and college exceeds 75 miles)
Year-round salary,
Employment with NSA after graduation.
YOU MUST BE A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR AT TIME OF APPLICATION OR A COLLEGE SOPHOMORE;
You must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
You must demonstrate leardership abilities.

TACA Scholarship
The Texas Aggregates Concrete and Association will sponsor the annual National Ready Mixed Concrete Association High School Essay Contest. The contest is open to Texas High School students who are age 16 - 18 at the beginning of the 2007 - 2008 school year.
The Texas winner will receive $2,500 to attend a college with a concrete-related curriculum.
