So much has changed in today's communication. This course explores the developments and reflects the new technology, but not at the expense of the basics. Writing remains the core of everything journalist do. Whether on paper, magazine, radio, TV broadcast or enternet, someone wrote it first. This class also centers on learning what is going on in the world. We will cover health, lifestyles, politics, the constitution, and local current events. I will push the students to think and explore ideas. I ask that students work hard but the results will be worth it. Once a student is hooked on the news, they will be learners for the rest of their lives.
